Our Story…
While cheerleading and song teams had existed for many years on the Palo Alto high school campus, dancers in 2010 often felt left out. They approached Varsity Cheer Coach, Hilary “Mac” McDaniel, about plans to start a Varsity Dance team… and thus the team was born.
In 2015, Coach Alanna joined Coach Mac, and the team completed its inaugural year competing with USA Varsity Dance. Since then, the team has competed in Contemporary, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Jazz, Character, and Novelty, and won numerous accolades at regional, national, and community levels. Although last 2020-21 season looked a little different because of covid-19 restrictions and safety, this will be the team’s seventh year competing, and hopes to bring back another National title in March.

During the YEar, You can find us…
Fall Season- cheering and performing at Varsity Football game halftimes, school rallies and other events (e.g. Welcome Back dinner)
Winter Season- cheering and performing at Girls & Boys Varsity Basketball games, school rallies, community events (e.g. Unify Dance concert), and competing locally and in LA for our Nationals
Spring Season- auditioning the new team, performing at school rallies and other events (e.g. Open Mic night, May Fete parade), and hosting our Spring Show in May
Summer- hosting a weeklong summer camp for cheerleaders, dancers, and creative tiny tots for elementary through middle schoolers; attending USA dance camp with other high schools to prepare for the new season
